About Aaron
Founder, The A.L. Standard
Most trainers are handed a client, a clipboard, and a template. He sits down and actually figures out who's in front of him first.
That's not a tagline, it's the method. In a first conversation, he gets details most people don't uncover until the fifth or sixth session: what's actually driving someone toward a goal, what's derailed them before, what they're not saying because nobody asked the right follow-up question. That's the part of this work that comes easiest to him, and it's the part that actually determines whether a program sticks.
At a big-box gym, you get 45 minutes on a schedule and a plan built for "someone your age and goals." He builds the plan around the person he just spent an hour listening to: their history, their schedule, their body, their actual life, not a category they fit into.
One client came to him wanting to lose weight. She's since lost 50 pounds and multiplied her deadlift strength many times over, but ask her what changed, and she won't lead with the number on the scale. She'll tell you about the confidence. That's not an accident or a side effect. It's what happens when a program is built around a person instead of a body-fat percentage, and when someone tracks the whole picture with them instead of just the metric that fits neatly on a chart.
If you're looking for a rep-counter, there are plenty of those. If you want someone who's going to ask why before writing the plan, and stay invested in you well past week one, that's what he does.
Training that fits your life.
The best training plan is the one you can actually follow. He begins with where you are — your schedule, your space, your equipment, and your goals — and builds a program that is efficient, progressive, and sustainable. No rigid templates, no unnecessary complexity.
Built for clients who value privacy.
The A.L. Standard is designed for busy professionals, executives, and high-net-worth individuals who want expert guidance without the public setting of a commercial gym. Sessions are confidential, scheduling is flexible, and the experience is entirely centered on you.
